About the Collection
Ang Sinapupunan ay repositoryong nagtatampok ng mga dekalibre’t mapangahas na pelikula ng Kababaihang Pilipino sa loob ng ika-21 dantaon. Ang tangkang pangongolekta ng mga materyal na ito ay naglalayong maisakatuparan ang aksesable at komprehensibong pagtuklas, pagkilala, at pagpapaunlad sa sining na iniluwal ng mga piling babaeng direktor at manunulat sa bansa. Gayundin, sinisikap ng proyekto na makapagbukas ng oportunidad para sa mga manonood, mag-aaral, at mananaliksik na masipat-dalumat at maisalang sa kritikal na diskurso ang daloy ng transformasyon na umiiral sa kasaysayan ng pelikula, lalong kung ikakabit ito sa usapin ng kasarian at kulturang popular.

This digital collection is built with CollectionBuilder, an open source framework for creating digital collection and exhibit websites that is developed by faculty librarians at the University of Idaho Library following the Lib-Static methodology.
The site started from the CollectionBuilder-GH template which utilizes the static website generator Jekyll and GitHub Pages to build and host digital collections and exhibits.
